The open plan living area features an environmentally friendly custom Yunca wood burner for cosy nights in cooler weather. The fully equipped kitchen offers plenty of space to create meals for enjoying around the dining table or al fresco on the deck overlooking the gardens and the ocean. The luxury bathroom is equipped with a large bathtub and shower. Sliding doors open out to the gardens and deck, where a BBQ is also available for guests to use.

“If it was possible, we would give 6 stars as it’s truly one-of-a-kind in terms of location and property. Sitting atop a ridge by the beach, you can watch the waves, surfers and endless colours of the ocean. Slightly to the left, the beautiful mountain range meets the coast. The views are spectacular; it’s worth taking the time to watch the sunset, the dark night sky and an extraordinary sunrise. You can also access the beach, where there were few people and a couple of seals napping. We would absolutely love to return and highly recommend a stay in this idyllic part of the South Island. ”
